Physical therapy provides patients with hands-on care to assist and guide them during recovery from an injury or painful and debilitating condition. HealthSouth's expertise in physical therapy includes general orthopedic therapy, spine therapy, foot and ankle therapy and sports medicine.

Occupational/Hand Therapy
Occupational/Hand Therapy

Our highly trained occupational therapists provide comprehensive evaluations of the hand, wrist and upper extremities. They can customize splints, both static and dynamic. Treatment also includes motor coordination, manual techniques, work simplification/modification, energy conservation, joint conservation, strengthening, edema control techniques, and functional re-education.

Speech Therapy
Speech Therapy

Speech/language pathologists provide rehabilitative care for both pediatric and adult conditions. An individualized therapy program is developed to minimize impairments, and home assignments are provided to facilitate functional gains.
